\"Simple<\/a>Why not celebrate Halloween with a simple law of attraction ritual? It’s easy and fun. Most people already get into the spirit of Halloween by carving a pumpkin, creating costumes and having parties. Did you realize that these are already rituals? But let’s take it one step further. Why not light a bonfire and say goodbye to the old and in with the new!<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Light your fire<\/strong>. Fire is the ultimate cleanser. It has been used for millenia as the number 1 ritual. It’s so potent that our fascination begins in childhood. It runs deep in our collective consciousness as the protector and the nourisher. Don’t panic! Any size of fire will do. Even if all you can manage is a candle – it’s still fire. But ideally you will have a brazier or a small bonfire in your backyard.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Invite your participants.<\/strong> Get your closest friends over. Ask them to bring their demons – because we are going to be exorcising tonight! Tell your friends that it’s OUT WITH THE OLD and IN WITH THE NEW. It’s the perfect time to let go of the past and create a bright future for the next 12 months.<\/p>\n

Step 2: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Start your Halloween Ritual.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ask everyone to write down their demons. You can choose your writing material creatively. You might decide on paper, bark, candles or even clothing. It’s up to you. You don’t have to share what you want to let go of either. Here are some examples of what you might want to write down:<\/p>\n

Feeling bad about xxxxx<\/p>\n

Not feeling good enough<\/p>\n

Feeling lonely<\/p>\n

Being single<\/p>\n

My dead end job<\/p>\n

My crappy car<\/p>\n

Living in a tiny apartment<\/p>\n

Feeling guilty when my father calls me<\/p>\n

Owing the bank $xxx<\/p>\n

Being in debt<\/p>\n

….and you get the general idea.<\/p>\n

Once you’ve written out your demons on the material of your choice, it’s time for cast your demons into the fire. As you do this it’s time for<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Creating a new slate.<\/strong> Critical, yet fun. State aloud (or mentally if you prefer) what you declare your life to be about now. Think “affirmations”. Positive and present tense. Examples:<\/p>\n

I am a fantastic friend<\/p>\n

I’m valuable and valued<\/p>\n

I now have a loving partner<\/p>\n

I now have a wonderful rewarding job that pays well<\/p>\n

I own a brand new chrysler jeep outright<\/p>\n

I live in a fabulous 3 bedroom house<\/p>\n

I have $xxx savings in the bank<\/p>\n

etc…<\/p>\n
